| Maruti vehicle sales fall 11% in December 2008 |

The sales of vehicles for Maruti Suzuki India, have come down by 11 per cent at 56,293 units in the month of December 2008 as compared with 62,515 units for the same period in 2007. The data issued by the company include exports of 4,264 units.
