MCX timing extended till 11.55 pm

Starting today, commodities exchange MCX will work from 10 a.m to 11.55 p.m.

This comes in the wake of a change of timing at the international trading platforms.

In the US, Comex will open one hour later at 6.45 and close at 1 a m (IST). Energy trading platform Nymex will open at 8 p m and close at 1.30 a.m (IST).

MCX is expected to witness good volume and volatility in the late hours, that is, after 11 pm to 11.55 pm.

The timings will continue till March 30, 2007.
