Mico, the flagship of the global Bosch group in India and currently enjoying 11 per cent market share in Uttar Pradesh for providing auto parts, will soon launch a number of initiatives to capture an extra market share. |
"The present business for our specialised 2-wheeler segment services in the state stands at Rs 74 crore. We expect growth of more than 20 per cent year-on-year for the same," said K Ravi, vice-president, automotive aftermarket, Mico. |

The company will be focusing on the increase of supply and sales of automotive parts and upgrading workshop equipment and offering technical information, training and consulting. |
"With about 1 million cars added each year, there is a need for car service stations as well. The number of Bosch car service centres in the state will go up from 15 to 21 by the end of June," added Ravi. |
The company has plans of opening about 300 such centres and 750 workshops across the country by 2009. |
