Announcing a strategic IT deal with Toyota Boshoku Automotive India, US-based IT infrastructure services provider Mindlance today said it is planning to invest $80-90 million in 2010-11 in India.
The solution is capable of working in different environment and will provide high manageability along with training support, Kamal Sharma, CIO and business head, Mindlance Group told reporters here today.
Mindlance had acquired 11 customers in India over the last six months and 28 clients globally last year, he said.
"We are aggressively focusing on India," he said given the huge opportunities, the available talent pool, the cost benefit. The company was planning to invest around $80-90 million in 2010-11 in India, he said.
Mindlance, which currently has 850 employees (out of which 250 are based in India), plans to hire 600 people this year, including 550 in India, he said.
About Mindlance expansion plans, he said it currently had four offices in India and plans to cover all metros by mid-2011. It plans to open four additional offices in Mumbai, Jaipur, Pune and Chennai.
Mindlance was also planning two new strategic data centres (including one in Jaipur) to serve domestic and global customers. It also plans to have regional hubs in tier II cities. It plans to make its Mumbai and Banglore new offices operational from April 11, he said.
