IT & R&D services firm MindTree has imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on its administrator, N Vijayalakshmi, for violation of the Code for Prevention of Insider Trading in securities.
The company said after investigation it was found that “the violation was not intentional and was inadvertent”.
Subsequently, the chairman of the audit committee directed her to deposit the fine in favour of MindTree Foundation, the non-profit organisation owned by the company.
