Ministry officials applaud 'century' of PowerGrid

Power ministry officials today lauded the "century hit" of PowerGrid shares, which crossed the Rs 100-mark in early deals today.

"It is an indication of the confidence of investors in the sector," Power Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde said.

Power secretray Anil Razdan proudly said: "We have hit a century for PowerGrid." 

They were speaking at the India Energy Summit in the city today.
