Mirc Electronics Q2 net up 25%

Mirc Electronics today posted a 24.83% growth in net profit at Rs 11.46 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2005 as against Rs 9.18 crore in the second quarter ended September 30, 2004.

According to a release issued by Mirc Electronics to the BSE today, total income increased 21.25% to Rs 317.72 crore in Q2FY06 from Rs 262.03 crore in Q2FY05.

The company registered a 30.9% increase in net profit at Rs 17.79 crore for the half-year ended September 30, 2005 as compared to Rs 13.59 crore in the half-year ended September 30, 2004.

The total income increased 15.85% to Rs 556.11 crore in H1FY06 from Rs 480.02 crore in H1FY05, the release added.
