State-run trading firm MMTC today reported a 54.21 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 216.24 crore for the year ended March 2010.
The company had clocked Rs 140.22 crore net profit in the last fiscal.
Turnover of the company increased to Rs 46,263.91 crore during the year against Rs 37,017.44 crore in 2008-09, it said in a release here.
The MMTC board has recommended the final dividend of 90 per cent on every share of Rs 10 face value and a 1:1 bonus share issue besides share split of 1:10.
