Moser Baer India today posted a loss of Rs 87 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2010.
The company had a net profit of Rs 2 crore in the same period previous year, Moser Baer India said said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
"The past quarter performance has been impacted by summer slackness and one time non-recurring operating factors," Moser Baer India Group Chief Financial Officer Yogesh Mathur said.Total income declined to Rs 468 crore in the April-June period 2010, from Rs 563 crore in the same period last year.
Shares of Moser Baer India were trading at Rs 62.60 on the BSE, up 0.97 per cent from the previous close.
