MP Power signs deal with KRBL for supply of 15 MW power

Power from the plant will be obtained for next 25 years at Rs 6.949 a unit

An agreement was inked in Bhopal between MP Power Management Company and KRBL Ltd for supplying 15 MW of power to the state.

Stating this, an official release said here today that the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) was signed in the presence of the company Managing Director, Manu Shrivastava and General Manager of KRBL, R D Saxena.

KRBL Limited will set up a 15 MW solar power plant at village Hatipura in Barod tehsil of Agar district.

The supply of power generated by this plant to Madhya Pradesh will start after 18 months from December 2015.

Power from the plant will be obtained for next 25 years at the competitive tariff of Rs 6.949 per unit, the release added.
