MphasiS BFL Q2 net down 42%

MphasiS BFL today reported a  41.78% decrease in consolidated net profit at Rs 23.38 crore for the second quarter ended September 2006 as against  Rs 40.16 crore in Q2FY06.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE, total income grew by 23.82% to Rs  285.07 crore as compared Rs 230.22 crore in Q2FY06.

On a standalone basis, the company posted a net profit at Rs 18 crore for Q2FY07 from Rs 23.22 crore in Q2FY06. The total income stood at Rs 128.81 crore from Rs 95.94 crore in Q2FY06.
