Tyre maker MRF today reported 67.09% increase in standalone net profit, for the quarter ended March 31, at Rs 150.13 crore.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 89.85 crore in the same period last year, MRF said in a filing to the BSE.
The total income from operations during the second quarter also went up by 25.55% to Rs 2,992.80 crore from Rs 2,383.79 crore in the year-ago period.
The shares of the company were trading 1.04% down at Rs 11,318 apiece during afternoon on the BSE.
