Hyderabad-based point of sale (POS) and automation services provider, MRL Posnet Ltd, expects to clock a turnover of Rs 16 crore by March 2014, up from Rs 9 crore in the last year. For MRL, 99 per cent of revenues come from credit and debit card POS transaction business.
In the second half of this year, it came up with its pilot field force automation (FFA) product, helping firms improve the business efficiency of field-based sales executives and client payment process through a real-time updation.
“In the next two years, we expect the share of FFA services to rise to 15 per cent, from the present one per cent. By March 2015, the revenues here would be Rs 2 crore,” said Kishore K Kothapalli, managing director, MRL Posnet, and added, it was working on a mobile-based business intelligence software-as-a-service (SaaS) product for firms, both business-to -business and customer (B2C).
However, it is slated for launch in last quarter of fiscal 2014, said Kothapalli. Later, the company would turn its attention towards business consolidation and customer product satisfaction. Apart from POS business, MRL’s other products include tablet-based e-cash register for bakery and food chains and real-time tracking for taxi operators.
