Punjab based Mrs Bector’s Food Specialties Pvt Ltd (that markets its snacks under the name of CREMICA) has signed an agreement with Canadian retail company Loblaw.
Mrs Bector has an interest in ethnic Indian snacks category. Mrs Bector’s Food Specialties MD Akshay Bector said signing the agreement with Loblaw would bring in due recognition for the group on the global platform.
The ethnic snacks manufactured by Mrs Bector’s Food Specialties shall be available for consumers at all the retail stores of the international chain across Canada.
“By keeping in sync with international quality standards, the company has gained through an approval for regular orders from the store. We were audited for CSR, quality, etc apart from brand acceptance and I am glad that we were preferred,” Akshay Bector added.
Bector said the group was exploring global markets for its ethnic products.
The brand is also said to have signed an agreement with a leading retailer in UK to manufacture ready to eat products.
