MTNL Q1 net down 6% to Rs 111cr

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam (MTNL) has posted a 6% decline in net profit at Rs 110.90 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 (Q1FY08) when compared with Rs 118.28 crore for Q1FY07.

According to an official release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income has decreased to Rs 1280.04 crore from Rs 1351.35 crore for Q1FY07.
