Integrated Marketing Communications major The Mudra Group is targetting acquisitions for further growth, a top company official has said.
"We are looking for an acquisition and it will happen soon," Mudra Group Managing Director and Group CEO, Madhukar Kamath said on the sidelines of the launch of its new brand identity on Monday.
"We have identified seven different areas in communication and advertising sectors where we don't have a considerable presence. So our target company is from any of these sectors," he said, declining to share further details.
He refused to reveal the location and the size of the acquisition. However, he added, the company was self-sufficient and did not need external funding to make an acquisition.
Another company official revealed the target company would be from the mobile advertising field. "We don't have much presence in mobile advertisement. More than advertisement, it will be technology-based. We are looking eagerly for a presence in this sector," he said.
