Bidding adieu to his pet venture Reliance Infocomm, Reliance group chairman Mukesh Ambani today wished younger brother Anil 'greater accomplishments,' and appealed to the employees of the biggest private sector telecom company to give their best to the new leadership.

In an emotional communication sent to over 40,000 employees of Infocomm, a company that has gone to Anil as part of the settlement of ownership issues between the two brothers, Mukesh said his younger brother "has enormous energy and drive, and we share a common commitment to take forward the legacy of our father late Dhirbubhai Ambani."

In sharp contrast to his e-mail sent to Reliance employees in November at the height of family feud where he had sought to assert the 'final authority' of chairman and managing director on all matters concerning Reliance, Mukesh, in his e-mail today, said: "I am sure that you will give your best to Anil and his new team".

Stating that the responsbility of caring for Reliance Infocomm and leading it was now being handed over to Anil, Mukesh said: "I send to the new leadership of Reliance Infocomm my best wishes for greater accoplishments."

Mukesh's message comes a day after Anil told reporters that he had parted with elder brother on a cordial note, and that Reliance would scale new heighs under Mukesh's leadership.
