Muthoot Finance today said it has filed a draft prospectus with stock exchanges for Non- Convertible Debentures issue for raising Rs 250 crore.
"Muthoot Finance Ltd has informed the BSE that the company has filed a Draft Prospectus with BSE Ltd and National Stock Exchange on August 24, 2012...In connection with a public issue of Secured Non-Convertible Debentures of face value of Rs 1,000 each (NCDs) aggregating up to Rs 2,500 million (Rs 250 crore)," it said in a BSE filing.
It added that the company has an option to retain over- subscription up to Rs 2,500 million (Rs 250 crore) for issuance of additional NCDs aggregating to a total of up to Rs 5,000 million (Rs 500 crore).
Shares of Muthoot Finance today closed at Rs 130.40 a piece on the BSE, down 0.34% from their previous close.
