Myntra onboards 200 fashion brands to help them tackle coronavirus impact

Walmart-owned firm integrated 1,200 physical stores during pandemic, is taking brands like Mango, Puma, Movado and ELLE jewellery across the country including tier-2 and tier-3 towns

With the Covid-19 pandemic impacting physical retailers, Walmart-owned Myntra has become the most effective retail channel for fashion and lifestyle brands to connect with their consumers.
 
It has on-boarded more than 200 brands during the pandemic and integrated 1,200 stores through its omnichannel model, says Myntra Chief Executive Officer Amar Nagaram.
 
“This is shaping the future of the industry, along side offering deep and extensive data insights into the brands,” he adds.
 
In the past three months, Myntra has on-boarded top-of-the-line brands such as Pantaloons, Max Fashion, Fabindia, and Bata. It has registered 80 per cent growth
