Nripendra Kumar Bharali has taken over as the new Director (Human Resources and Business Development) of Oil India Ltd.
"He was holding the position of General Manager (HR&BD) at the corporate office prior to assuming the charge of Director (HR&BD)," a company statement said here.
A post graduate from the Indian Institute of Management, (IIM), Ahmedabad, Bharali graduated as Petroleum Engineer from the Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad, and started his career with OIL as a senior executive in 1982.
As Director (Human Resource and Business Development), he will be responsible for creating a leadership team at the senior management level in line with business needs and the ever-changing environment in the industry.
He will also be responsible for business development activities at OIL, which involves scouting and acquisition of global exploration and production (E&P) properties, pipelines and E&P services, it added.
