National Aviation Company of India (NACIL) today said it has signed a pre-delivery finance loan facility for $214.118 million for eight aircraft.

The lead arrangers of the facility are Bank of Scotland and Deutsche Bank and the co-arranger is ING Bank, NACIL said in a release.

The agreement was signed on July 30 in London. The facility is for three 777-200LRs and five 777-300ERs to be delivered between 2009 and 2010.

The loan would be repaid from the delivery financing to be concluded for the aircraft, NACIL said.

NACIL has ordered 111 aircraft, with a mix of Boeing and Airbus aircraft. So far, it has taken delivery of 38 aircraft.
