Nagarjuna bags orders worth Rs 236cr

Hyderabad-based infrastructure major, Nagarjuna Construction Company, has been awarded two projects valued at Rs 236 crore.

According to a release issued by Nagarjuna to the BSE today, the first project - relating to investigation, design, excavation and lining of Owk tunnel-II for feeding of Owk reservoir from 57.7 kilometre of GNSS flood flow canal at Nandyal in Andhra Pradesh on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) turn-key basis - is valued at Rs 200 crore.

The contract, awarded by the superintending engineer (irrigation and CAD department), Nandyal, is to be completed over a period of 30 months.

The second project, valued at Rs 36 crore, has been awarded for construction of multi-storied apartments by Shriram Properties at Sadashivanagar in Bangalore. The project is to be completed over a period of 16 months.
