Nagarjuna bags orders worth Rs 791 cr

Nagarjuna Construction today said that it has secured orders worth Rs 791 crore for construction related work.

The company has received two orders valued at Rs 309 crore from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare for construction of medical college at AIIMS in Patna, which will be executed over a period of 18 months, Nagarjuna Construction said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The other orders are a Rs 215-crore contract from Khubchandani Hospitals Pvt Ltd, Mumbai, which will be completed over a period of 22 months and a Rs 125-crore order for construction of apartment from Lucknow Development Authority, the filing added.

Nagarjuna Construction has also received orders worth Rs 86 crore and Rs 56 crore from Agriculture Produce Market Committee, Bangalore and MRF Ltd, Chennai respectively.

Share of Nagarjuna Construction was trading at Rs 184.75, up 1.79 per cent on the BSE.
