Nagarjuna Construction Q2 net up 59% at Rs 6.37 crore

 The company's turnover also grew by 46 per cent at Rs 150 crore for the quarter, as against a turnover of Rs 103 crore in the same period last year.

 The company has made a tax provision of Rs 1.32 crore for the quarter.

 For the first-half of the current fiscal, the company reported a net profit of Rs 11.62 crore on a turnover of Rs 277 crore, as against a net profit of Rs 8 crore and turnover of Rs 217 crore in the same period last year.

 On an equity base of Rs 9.45 crore, it works out to an annualised earnings per share of Rs 24.58.

 NCC, which has been celebrating silver jubilee year, has secured orders worth Rs 480 crore during the current fiscal. With this, the total value of orders on hand went up to Rs 1,363 crore.

 The company aims to achieve Rs 600 crore turnover during the current fiscal, as compared to that of Rs 458 crore in the last fiscal. The company specialises on projects in the areas of industrial structures and buildings, transportation, water and environment, housing, electricals, and property development.
