Nagarjuna Construction net up 3.8 per cent

Hyderabad-based Nagarjuna Construction Company Limited (NCCL) reported a marginal 3.8 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 43.92 crore for the quarter ended September 2009, against Rs 42.30 crore posted in the same period last year.

Its turnover stood at Rs 1,068 crore against Rs 1,056 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Zenith Computers net up 31 per cent

Zenith Computers posted net profit of Rs 31 lakh a rise of 31.35 per cent for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 from Rs 23.62 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter grew 4.58 per cent at Rs 90.78 crore from Rs 86.80 crore in the same quarter last financial year.

 

SCI net dips 87.74% to Rs 33.7 crore

Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) said on Saturday its net profit declined by 87.74 per cent to Rs 33.7 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2009, over the same period last year.

Total income declined to Rs 909.26 crore in the July-September quarter, against Rs 1,284.6 crore in the same period previous financial, SCI said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
