Textiles firm Nakoda Ltd today said its net profit after tax (PAT) rose by 40.64 per cent to Rs 8.72 crore for the quarter ended September 30, over the same period previous fiscal.
The company had a PAT of Rs 6.20 crore in the same period last fiscal, Nakoda said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Net sales of the company rose to Rs 356.10 crore for the September quarter, compared to Rs 262.31 crore in the same period previous fiscal.
Shares of Nakoda today closed at Rs 15.41 on the BSE, up 4.55 per cent from its previous close.
