National Aluminium Company today posted a 38% drop in net profit at Rs 139.34 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011 as compared to Rs 224 crore for the same quarter previous fiscal.
Total income increased 11.60% to Rs 1,746 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011 from Rs 1,564.51 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.
The shares of the firm ended 2.60% down at Rs 59.90 per share on the Bombay Stock Exchange yesterday.
