Bangalore-based Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospitals on Thursday announced a partnership with Society for Rehabilitation of Crippled Children (SRCC) to build and manage a super specialty hospital for kids in Mumbai.
As per the arrangement between the two, SRCC will provide the land and finances for developing the hospital, while Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospitals will manage and maintain the facility.
"As per the agreement with Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospitals, they will help us to develop the facility and also provide equipment," SRCC honorary general secretary Anita Garware said. According to Garware, 200 beds would come up in the first phase of construction, which will be completed in the next 18 months. SRCC President S Ramadorai said: "I am confident that with this partnership we will set new benchmarks in the healthcare industry."
