Nasscom Sees It Spend Revival Next Fiscal

Nasscom expects a revival in IT spending in 2003-04 although spending this fiscal is likely to be flat. The industry body is also optimistic that India will continue its dominance in IT services and will be the most favoured destination for IT-enabled services, according to a study conducted by Nasscom on the IT and IT-enabled services sector.

Nasscom is also of the view that the trend of fixed price multi-year contracts would gain ground with larger Indian companies now being able to bag contracts of a larger size though with stricter delivery parameters.
