Hyderabad-based drug maker Natco Pharma Limited has reported a 12.03% decline in net profit to Rs 12.65 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012, as against Rs 14.38 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Total income increased 33.42% to Rs 153.84 crore during the quarter, as against Rs 115.30 crore in the same period a year ago. For the full year, the net profit grew 11.40% to Rs 59.61 crore, as compared to Rs 53.51 crore last year.
Total income stood at Rs 555.58 crore, as compared to Rs 483.07 crore, registering a growth of 15.01%, according to a company release.
The company's scrip is currently trading at Rs 411.46 on BSE, down 16% over the previous close of Rs 410.78.
