Australia-based National Hearing Care is planning to increase its presence in India. The company would invest around $10 million (around Rs 46 crore) for the proposed expansion over the next three years.

Group chief executive officer Paul Mirebelle said NHC would double the network in three years.

While it would add 60-70 more clinics in Australia, 20-30 would be added in New Zealand, 80-100 in India apart from other Asian countries.

“Our view is that India at 100 clinics is far from saturated and the network here will continue to grow,” he added.  It expects a revenue of $15-20 million from the Indian venture.

The company is also open to offer its services to state governments and their service organisations in reaching the hearing handicapped in rural areas. The Indian operation of NHC Hearing Care (India) was launched on March 11, 2010.
