NCC net up 110 pc in Q3

Nagarjuna Construction Company (NCC) has posted a 110 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 8.64 crore for the quarter ended December as against Rs 4.11 crore posted for the corresponding period last fiscal.
 

The turnover during Q3 increased by 71 per cent to Rs 193 crore from Rs 113 crore.
 

For the nine months period, the net profit increased to Rs 20.3 crore from Rs 12.2 crore, and turnover increased to Rs 470 crore from Rs 330 crore.
 

During the first nine months, the company has bagged orders worth Rs 788 crore. The balance value of orders on hand stands at Rs 1,487 crore . NCC expects to achieve a turnover of Rs 620 crore this year as against Rs 457 crore last year.
