Media conglomerate New Delhi Television (NDTV) today reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 83.41 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009.
The company had a net profit of Rs 526.64 crore in the same quarter last year, NDTV said in a release.
Income from operations rose to Rs 130.69 crore in the latest quarter, against Rs 119.41 crore in the same period previous fiscal.
On the standalone basis, the company has posted a net loss of Rs 2.39 crore in the June quarter, while it had a net profit of Rs 2.08 crore in the same quarter last year.
Income from operations rose to Rs 80.09 crore for the quarter ended June 2009, against Rs 69.73 crore in the same period previous fiscal.
Shares of NDTV today settled at Rs 131.05 on the BSE, up 3.03 per cent from previous close.
