NDTV group's digital arm NDTV Convergence today signed around Rs 100 crore deal with content recommendation engine Taboola to power its entire network of desktop and mobile sites.

NDTV, which has been working with Taboola for over a year, has singed the strategic deal for three years.



"The deal is estimated to be worth Rs 90-100 crore (approximately $13-15 million) for NDTV over the course of the agreement based on traffic projections across Web and Mobile," the company said in a statement.

Commenting on the partnership, NDTV Group CEO & Executive Director Vikram Chandra said: "This truly is a landmark deal given its size and scale, making it the largest and one-of- its kind in the Indian digital media eco-system. This association further re-inforces our leadership position in the digital space."

Taboola will serve as the exclusive, multi-platform content discovery partner across all its properties. In addition to providing advertisers with an option to now target the premium NDTV audience through native content marketing, Taboola will also work with NDTV to increase user engagement.

NDTV Convergence owns and operates the flagship portal, www.Ndtv.Com and all other digital properties of the Group. and has over 60 million unique visitors every month.
