Drug firm Nectar Lifesciences on Tuesday reported 16.38 per cent dip in standalone net profit to Rs 12.30 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2016-17.

It had posted net profit of Rs 14.71 crore for the corresponding period of the last financial year, the company said in a BSE filing.

Standalone total income from operations of the company stood at Rs 354.43 crore for the quarter under consideration as against Rs 407.70 crore for the same period year ago.

Shares of Nectar Lifesciences closed 1.58 per cent down at Rs 34.35 on BSE.
