Net penetration curbed by costs

 Internet penetration in India has been restricted due to the high linkage costs and low data transfer rates.

 Speaking at the Telecomm India 2003 seminar, Dr Ashok Jhunjhunwala, professor, Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai said,
