With the the mercury in Agra coming close to passing the 45-degree mark last week, the demand for soft drinks has risen significantly. |
But while multinationals like Coke & Pepsi are eagerly making up for the loss in business in the winter months, health conscious consumers are still considering a chilled tetrapack of fruit juice a better option than a bottle of carbonated water. |
Keeping such health conscious consumers in focus, Rital Imprex Ltd, a company engaged in the marketing of dry fruits in Uttar Pradesh for the past 26 years, launched its fruit juice brand "Coco" recently in Agra. |
On the occasion of the launch of this brand in the Agra division, A K Pandey, general manager, Rital Imprex Ltd said that the fruit juice was being supplied by the company in Agra in tetrapacks of 250, 500 & 1000 ml capacity through an arrangement made with a local F&B concern. |
Initially, he said, the company had launched only four varieties of fruit juices namely mango, orange, litchi & pineapple, but other flavours could also be launched if the demand for more flavours shoot up. |
He said the company had been marketing dry fruits in Uttar Pradesh for 26 years under the "Coco" brand, which were to be marketed under the same brand in Uttar Pradesh. |
The expansion of the dealer network in other states was also being contemplated, he added. |
