Om Triple R India Private Ltd on Monday launched a new oil-cleaning machine that uses depth filtration technology to purify contaminated lubricating oils used in machines ranging from automobiles to industries.
The company will distribute the machine in India, under partnership with Japan-based Triple R Overseas Corporation, which developed and patented the technology, according to BVS Prakash, chairman and managing director, Om Triple R.
Prakash said recycling with the machine helped users reduce oil consumption and maintenance costs, and that the cost of using it would come to less than a rupee per litre. The machine's price would vary depending upon the capacity and speed.
