Private equity firm New Vernon India increased its stake in education solutions provider Everonn Education to 5.90 per cent.
New Vernon's stake as of March 31, 2010 was 3.15 per cent (476,138 shares), according to the data available on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
In 2008, New Vernon India, Deutsche Securities Mauritius and The India Fund of the Blackstone group had acquired 12.69 lakh Everonn shares for Rs 91.39 crore, paying Rs 720 a share.
