State-run Neyveli Lignite Corporation today announced a net profit of Rs 285.83 crore for the quarter ended June 30, a 1.58 per cent growth from that in the corresponding period a year ago.
The company had a net profit of Rs 281.37 crore for the quarter ended last year, Neyveli Lignite Corporation today said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange.
The total income of the company rose to Rs 1,237.62 crore for the June quarter from Rs 925.93 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Shares of the company closed at Rs 120.80 on the BSE.
