Nicco Corporation today informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that it is trying to assess the extent of losses caused by the fire that broke out at the company's office last Friday.
Nicco is examining the matter and further actions to be taken including insurance claims.
Fire broke out at Nicco Corporation's registered office at Hare Street here in the afternoon of March 27. The fire started in the premises of some other company on the second floor and later spread to other floors in the building.
The building also houses the offices of a large number of other unrelated and outside companies, including a nationalised bank.
Fire fighters tackled the fire and the same "was brought under control. No loss of life was reported".
