NIIT Technologies Ltd, the Delhi-based IT services provider, today announced a strategic partnership with Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific Airlines to develop a warehouse operating system for the latter’s new cargo terminal at Hong Kong International Airport, the company said in a communication to the Bombay Stock Exchange. The system is expected to become operational in mid-2011.
NIIT Technologies will design, develop and implement the warehouse operating system, which will be tailored to serve the growing demands of the air cargo industry. The e-freight complaint system will be in line with the terminal’s facility design to enable the most efficient flow of cargo and to facilitate speedy processing of all types of cargo.
