Talent development company NIIT today said it has entered a partnership with Ireland's Digital Marketing Institute to offer digital marketing and professional certification in India. As a part of this, the training company has launched a programme, Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing, which is recognised globally by the industry.
The programme is designed with many association and is recognised in over 25 countries including the UK, the US, South Africa, West Asia. As part of the alliance, DMI will run specialist training programmes with the NIIT faculty.
As per industry estimates, global digital media spend will exceed $104 billion in 2013 and is growing at a rate of 10% annually. The rate of growth in Asia is nearly 25% year-on-year.
“Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing will enable the participants to understand the various channels and activities required to plan, implement and manage comprehensive digital plan for a business,” the company said.
It also said that the programme will give an overview of search engine optimisation, pay per click marketing, email marketing, social media marketing, mobile marketing among others.
