NIIT, Moser Baer & Cranes Soft Q2 results

NIIT net up 12%
 
NIIT announced a 12 per cent increase in its net profit to Rs 13.2 crore during the second quarter of the current financial year, compared with Rs. 11.8 crore during July-September 2004.
 
The company's consolidated revenues grew 12 per cent to Rs 208.5 crore as against Rs 186 crore. Operating margin improved to 14.1 per cent, as against 12.6 per cent.
 
Moser Baer net dips 82%
 
Moser Baer said its profits fell 82.39 per cent to Rs 3.08 crore during July-September 2005, compared with Rs 17.5 crore during the corresponding period last year. The company's total income rose 58 per cent to Rs 405 crore.
 
Moser Baer incurred losses of Rs 8.06 crore during the first six months of the current year, as against a net profit of Rs 65.5 crore during April-September, 2004. Its income grew 36.4 per cent to Rs 766 crore compared with Rs 561.8 crore.
 
Cranes Soft Q2 net up 66%
 
Cranes Software has reported a 66 per cent increase in net profit to reach Rs 13.6 crore for second quarter ended September 2005 as against Rs 8.2 crore during the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Operating revenue were up 31 per cent to Rs 47.7 crore compared with Rs 36.3 crore.
