Nilkamal opens @Home store in Hyderabad

Nilkamal Plastics Limited, known for its popular moulded furniture, has now expanded its newly launched retail chain of imported home furniture and interior decoration products to Hyderabad.

The company opened its fifth @Home store and the first-of-its-kind in the state at Banjara Hills here recently.

Imported from countries like China and Indonesia, the trendy knockdown furniture come with added services like free installation, a free 3-D view of the customer's own home and tips by qualified interior designers.

"Besides offering quality furniture with contemporary designs and convenience, the company offers services that help customers furnish their homes in a matter of hours," Manish Parekh, director of Nilkamal Plastics Limited, told the media. He also said the price range had been fixed keeping in mind the middle-income families, who form the bulk of urban consumers.

The company has also tied up with ICICI and HDFC to offer 12-month interest-free installments on credit card purchases at these stores.

Manish said the company was aiming to set up about 25 stores in the country along with opening a similar number of franchisee outlets in the next three years. The company made an outlay of Rs 40 crore for the purpose, he added.
