NINL logs best ever hot metal output, goes past 3,000-tonne mark

MMTC promoted Neelachal Ispat Nigam Ltd (NINL) recorded its highest ever hot metal output of 3,001 tonnes on May 13. 

The steel PSU with operations at Kalinga Nagar, the steel hub of Odisha, has stakes by two state government PSUs- Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) and Industrial Promotion & Investment Corporation of Odisha Ltd (Ipicol). S S Mohanty, vice-chairman & managing director, NINL congratulated the NINL collective for surpassing the 3,000-tonne mark in hot metal production which the company targeted and aims to sustain. 

Efforts are made to bench mark all the parameters to the world class standard.
