Nippo Batteries Co today said its promoters have pledged 19.90 per cent stake in the company for an undisclosed amount.
In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company said that the promoters have pledged 7.4 lakh shares representing 19.90 per cent stake in the company.
PDR Investments has pledged 1.59 lakh shares representing 4.25 per cent stake and Sindoori Reddy has pledged all 1,46,016 shares, or 3.89 per cent stake in the company, the filing added.
Rest of the promoters have pledged over 4,41,018 shares representing 11.76 per cent stake in the company, it added.
In another BSE filing, Nava Bharat Ventures, engaged in power generation and infrastructure development, promoters have pledged 6.49 per cent stake in the company.
AN Investments Private and SRT Investments have pledged 50,00,000 shares representing 6.49 per cent stake.
Shares of Nippo Batteries were trading at Rs 296, up 0.34 per cent and Nava Bharat Ventures were trading at Rs 109.65, down 1.62 per cent on the BSE.
