Public sector iron ore company NMDC Limited on Tuesday presented a cheque for Rs 951.58 crore to Union Minister of Steel Narendra Singh Tomar towards the first interim dividend for 2014-15.
NMDC chairman-cum-managing director Narendra Kothari presented the cheque to the minister in the presence of Minister of State for Steel Vishnu Deo Sai and senior officials of the ministry, according to a release. The company had paid Rs 2,696-crore dividend to the Centre last year.
