The government today said it has no plans to raise prices of gas produced by state-run ONGC and Oil India.
"No not yet," Petroleum Secretary R S Pandey said when asked if there was a proposal to raise the prices of APM (administered price mechanism) gas.
Pandey said the country would move to competitive market prices only when supplies are augmented.
Right now it is a supplier's market as there is a huge gas deficit in the country.
