Electronics major Canon India on Wednesday said it had no plans to raise the price of its cameras as of now, despite rupee devaluation impacting its costs in a big way.
"The rupee devaluation was a 'very tough' challenge. It has created a big impact on our costs. "The import costs have gone up close to 15 per cent since last two months and we have increased the price of various products, including printers and copiers. However, for cameras, we have not hiked prices," company's Executive Vice President Alok Bharadwaj said.
